Just a note to those that will be down there...
My wave will be starting at 7:28 or 7:32 am (my age group is split between 2 start times). Pharmie starts after me, so look for us chatting nervously near the water's edge prior to my start. If (and I repeat: IF) all goes well, I hope to be finishing around (MAYBE JUST BEFORE??...) 1 pm. Pharmie doesn't start until well after me, so she doesn't think she'll be done until after 2 (maybe closer to 2:30). So you can find me near the finish line looking for Pharmie after 2 pm. I'll be the guy who smells like B.O.
Other than that, we'll be hanging out with Team EvoTri. A bunch of us are actually renting an apartment together for our stay in NOLA. The race should be fun, but THE NON-RACING TIMES SHOULD BE EVEN FUNNER!!! Yes, "funner." Man, this is gonna rock!!
Let's hope for a great day!! Keep us all in your thoughts on Sunday as we're out there for 70.3 miles! And like I mentioned before, I hope to have a few posts and photos while we're down there (Friday - Monday), so check back. Thanks for all the well-wishes everyone!!
Now, time to start packing......

GOOD LUCK !!! I have a wonderful suggestion for you before the race starts this Sunday. Make sure you party hard on Bourbon Street the night before the race. You will be sharp as ever for the race. ;-)

With those recent swim times, you will blow 39:30 away. New Orleans is the place to be to have some fun before and after a race. Good luck and hopefully we'll be finishing around the same time. Give me a butt slap when you pass me, I'll be the fat guy with no shirt and BR Tri shorts on...
