A Sign From God?...

>> Monday, July 20, 2009

Pharmie hopped on the scale to weigh herself last week. We have a digital scale that gives a reading down to the 1/10th of a pound.

What did she weigh?

140.6.

She’s taking it as a sign from above. A few days ago, she came home from a shopping trip with a smirk on her face. She had bought a “New Zealand Travel Guide.”

We’ll see where this all leads...

(If “140.6” doesn’t mean anything to you, click here to see what I’m talking about...)

Your wife allowed you to post her weight on the internet?

Ha! My first thought when I thought about IM was IM NZ. I still have not ruled it out as my first IM. Don't know when . . .

Staying tuned . . . .

Publicly posting your wife's weight is ballsy!!

I can see the significance of the number tho, 140.6 is no joke!

They had a show on IM NZ from a couple years ago on tv the other weekend. I watched the entire thing! Half because I love IM shows and half because of their kicky accents.

Publicly posting your wife's weight ON YOUR ANNIVERSARY...now that takes guts! :)

Why do you guys always do the early season long distance races?

Is Pharmie really game for seven hours, on the trainer, in the basement, in February?

Pretty cool! In 2007 my mileage for swimming biking and running totaled 2007 miles! (Actually 2006.8) I swear that I did not plan it!

Stefanie 3:48 PM, July 20, 2009

Rock On.

Heck right now I am at 143.6... I need Pharmies Weight. I don't want to do any extra mileage.

CoachLiz 8:53 PM, July 20, 2009

I know someone who has done that race and she said it was AWESOME!!! I hope the mojo goes your way!

Oooh, oooh, oooh - and if you head this way then you'll of course have to drop by Wellington so I can take you guys for a run round our lovely city! Or something ....

Lucinda 3:31 AM, July 21, 2009

That would be awesome! You can come and stay with me in Wellington, I will be your support team/official Australian living in New Zealand squad supporter!
