Cheering for the Twin Cities Marathon

>> Monday, October 05, 2009

I finished my race, grabbed the farm animal costumes, and spent the rest of the morning cheering for the TC Marathon runners. This is how we do it:

All our family finished and finished STRONG!! I’ll be back shortly with my 10 Mile race report and a bunch of photos. For now, just watch the video again! ;)

I am so glad I was not eating or drinking anything when the camera panned over to the sidelines. That is is the best photobomb video of dancing farm animals EVER!!!

LMAO! Now I am disappointed that I missed the race. I am sure the runners loved it.

Great job on the race and being a great cheerleader.

Awesome. I think you could earn good money hitting other races (like my 22K trail race coming up). Made my morning Steve, thank you.

Funny! Saw you on the course but you guys were in some intense convo and had beheaded your costumes by then. Love the video!

Guess what? I'm in that clip!! I think that's me at about :10 in the black shorts and two-tone blue shirt. I just had said hello to you and told you I loved your blog, which I do!! ;)

I nearly spit my tea out, hysterical. Who was the cow? Kept wagging his booty for the camera.

very funny stuff. Who is the lucky "keeper of the outfits"?

OK, I just about lost it at work watching this. I saw Steve and Co. earlier but missed the dancing part. I can only wonder what the marathoners were thinking as they were rounding the Cathedral, probably not, "Hey I can see the finish line", but more likely, "Hey did I just see a dancing Cow, Chicken and Pig?"

The other thing that I took from this post is that Steve has an "I'm crazy" tag, and it is attached to several posts. Well worth the time to read just the posts with the "I'm crazy" tag.

;)

HA! It kills me every time. Every. Single. Time! (Yes, I DID watch it five times in a row). I agree with Morgan . . . if we pool our money together and pay for your flight, will you please come to Chicago this weekend and cheer us on?

Beth 5:23 PM, October 05, 2009

I actually got a little teary thinking about how many people you made smile when they really needed it out there. I know... I'm very sappy. Very funny!

Eric 6:09 PM, October 05, 2009

The way the cow is shakin' it's booty I would guess that's you.

Can't wait to read the race report.

Badgergirl 6:16 PM, October 05, 2009

Kevin 7:58 PM, October 05, 2009

You guys have some moves, I think I may have to favorite that!

The Boring Runner 9:17 PM, October 06, 2009

I kept an eye out for you the entire time (I was cheering, not running - not by choice). However, my buddy said that he did see you guys and it cheered him up. :)

What goes better with technotronic than farm animals!?! Nothing.
