TYR Swim / Transition Bag Giveaway!

The Life Time Fitness Corporation has given me some goodies to giveaway in their name. Such nice people, right? Here's what they have for my readers:

That's a TYR Alliance Team Backpack. It's technically a "swim bag," but it'd work GREAT for triathletes as a "transition bag." Here are photos of the 2 I brought home:

The bag has a big "main" compartment, with 2 smaller compartments on the sides (the side compartments have a little mesh so you could put wet things in there). There's another zipper compartment in the middle of the back (on the TYR logo) that has a small mesh pouch in it along with a padded zipper pouch for goggles. The part of the backpack that goes against your back has 2 big pads that are really soft. The straps are wide and very adjustable.

But I think the best part of this bag is the big mesh compartment on the bottom of the bag. (The last photo shows it up close on the Royal / Gold bag.) That compartment is separate from the main compartment, and it's solid mesh on the outside, so you can put something SOAKING WET in there and it will drain out. I'd use that as a "stank" compartment: I'd throw my nasty, wet racing flats in there after a road race (it's big enough for that), or my nasty, wet tri suit after a triathlon.
