A Birthday / Anniversary

I posted yesterday that I just had my birthday and that someone suggested that I get "another obnoxious and overly inappropriate Speedo!"

When my wife saw that post, she laughed. She showed me an e-mail that she got on my birthday:

We WERE "thrilled with our purchase!" Thanks SwimOutlet! ;)

I had forgotten that we ordered the "Pinky and the Brain" shorts on the night of my birthday last year. Well, SHE ordered them as a birthday present for me after I convinced her that I WOULD wear them.

Here's when I first posted about them a year ago, and here's my first race report in those shorts.

Oh, and don't forget the first duathlon I did in those shorts where EVERYONE was looking at my ass.

Anyway... happy birthday "Pinky and the Brain" shorts! I hope your 2nd year is as fun as your first!
